Try replacing the rubber hoses that go the rear cylinders. They can develop little 'valves' inside themselves when they age, altho usually that's associated with dragging brakes When that doesn't work, make SURE that you're getting a master cylinder with a residual pressure valve- it really sounds like your rear brakes aren't being held in position.
