There are two kinds of type 3 calipers, early 66-71 and late 72-3.  
The late calipers had two bleed valves, top and bottom, but the 
aftermarket replacements do not have the second (bottom) bleed valve.

For a caliper to be suitable for the left side, it must not only have 
the bleed valve on the top, but must also have the pistons positioned 
the right way.  If they are wrong, they can be rotated.  the Bentley 
manual has the details.

If you can't get correct rebuilds, I can rebuild yours, but only if 
they came off your car recently; don't expect me to rebuild something 
that has been sitting in the mud for the past 10 years.
