(Dr. Nick from The Simpsons voice) Hello Everybody! I'm Chris, Ive got a 58 ragtop Type 1 and an 84 Jetta GLi. Im on the other lists like Vintag VW and Scirocco-l and e-dubs. Gotta join more! My girlfriend (Ive trained her so well...) spotted 'a bus and 2 VW lookin' things' not too far from my house. I went to check it out and its a late type 4 bus (no motor) and 2 squarebacks. The bus is in nice shape and is filled with old US Car parts, but when I opened the door, there was a pair osf early bus headlights sitting there. There's prolly some treasures in there. the one squareback is hit hard in the front, I think its a 72. It has an engine and a truck crankshaft sitting on the passenger seat, along with other misc. parts. The one I liked, was a 70(?) square, orange, 1 blue fender, VERY little surface rust, with an automatic and AC. Is that rare? I don't know too much about these cars (type III). It has like 3 or 4 engines in it...Where do these rust first? I looked in the usual beetle places quickly and it looked solid! I plan on finding the owners this week.
