Well, I was up to 3:30 going through the fastback's electrical, trying top make heads or tails as to what kind of crack the PO was smoking...Its amazing what those crazy POs do, huh? Half the wires cut off the turn signal. No interior lights. front fender lights all dead. No high beams. No running lights on left side. When turning right, the dashboard lights don't work and it clicks once. When turning left the high beam on the head light flashes. Hazard makes the left high beam flash. burned wires covered in duck tape. Half the wires for the ignition switch were cut off, and the rest were wrapped around the connectors and covered with masking tape. I attribute my problem to this- it was truly horrible. I think there a 'leak' to the starter through the mayhem. After about 30 minutes, I gave up and starting swapping parts with my squareback. Now, the wires are nice, but my ignition switch is diferent. Oh well. I see a fair amount of wires on my squares that have been pruned from the fastback.... I've heard that Bently doesn't have color wiring diagram's anymore. Anyone know where I could get some? At least now I have back indicator lights (not on the left side, weird. but the brake lights work), dashboard lights, and a safe column and ignition. Unfortunately, i lost my gas gauge while doing this- now IT doesn't work. These crazy cool cars.
