Damian- That's a tough one- once the chrome gets pits, the steel underneath loves to rust. You might try using a non-abrasive wax meant for the paint- a friend uses (ok, brand name, sorry) Meguiar's on her 67 Firebird front bumper (a huge expanse of chrome- it's the whole nose of the car). She rewaxes it every time she does the car, and it seems to protect the bumper pretty well. A light oil might also work... And I've no clue what OSPHO is, either...
