I'm used to seeing "SB" on the newsgroups and it means "SuperBeetle" (a
Type I)...is that what you're talking about?, because this list is centered
on the Type III.
If you are using my conversion or using a Type I alternator you shouldn't
have
any problems with the distributor (for a T3) -- if you really wanna stretch
your
imagination I would say the mechanical fuel pump would be in the way (but
that's
really not possibly, either).

i am in the middle of doing an alternater conversion on my 71 SB but my
distributor is interfering a little can anyone tell me if it is ok to pull
the
dis. drive shaft and turn it a little to stop the interferece would this
hurt
anything???? please help.
