I don„t know how big exactly. I suggest you have a look at the existing wires and choose the size from there. To run the wire to the dash just follow the existing wire harness. There is a grommet from the engine compartment into the cabin, then under the rear seat, along the regulator, under the carpet to the front. This would make to wire "invisible".
