He's still in Texas and he's still with his VW club. He left the group
because he thought all of you were too close minded about custom cars...ha
ha, just kidding! No, really, he left because of his new job working as a
graphics artist (he's pretty good). It's kept him very busy and he just
didn't have the time for the volume we make on the list. He said that
he'll return once his job settles down. If you look in one of the American
VW magazines, towards the back where the advertisers are, you'll see a
drawing/cartoon for the Great Texas Bug Run of a cowboy leaning back next
to a fire (I think he's roasting a marshmallow); that was drawn by Big Al
(look for the artist's name).
