Not sure if anyone has heard this news or not. While thumbing through the
August 1997 issue of Hot VW's, I noticed the following blurb in the "Parts
Bin" section:
"Now available from California Import Parts, high quality fiberglass
reproductions of the much sought after 1970-74 Type 3 front fenders! Our
molds are taken from NOS German fenders to ensure a proper fit with exact
body lines and recessions. Sold in pairs only. Make us your first choice
for VW aftermarket parts by calling (800) 313-3811 or write California
Import Parts Ltd, Dept. HVWs, 1120 Yew Avenue, Blaine, WA 98230"
I have not called Cal. Import Parts yet to get more info. This is just a
reprint from a blurb in Hot VW's. I will call them this morning if they
are open otherwise it will have to wait until Monday.
