Re: Insuance on my new 71

Use and insurance broker. They have several insurance companies to work
with and can find you the best rate.

I went to my insurance company today and got insurance on my
"new" 71 squareback and got a shocking suprise. The lady at my
insurance
company said my car had to be insured at the same rate as a sports
car!
My s'back is an automatic and as other auto type three owners know
it is NOT all that sporty (as in very little pickmeup). Does any body
know of any way around this? I am an 18 year old male and my insurance
is expensive enough as it is. my car is costing nearly $2k a year for
liability!
