ok, everybody wants to know where that VW junkyard is that I mentioned. Its about 1 hour south of Huntsville Alabama. Its got between 300 and 500 VW's, only aircooled. I usually find what I need. The problem is the lack of accessability. Everything is stashed together so closely and in so much jungle that each trip is an expedition. Wintertime is definitely the best time. The junkyards in California are definitely better. No rust at all and lots of type III on the normal pick-a-parts. But VW only junkyards are located all over the US! In the newspaper there was a report about a place in Ohio. I know of one in South Carolina. There are also two near Birmingham. Around here there seems to be one every 80 miles. Now please don't e-mail me about finding you a that tripspeedo you've been searching for! Martin Peitz
