Okay, I understand.  The primary and secondary resistances are only 
approximate and are not the important factors.  The PS is actually a 
transformer with variable mutual inductance; the resistance will not 
vary with vacuum.  I have always wondered if there was a way to 
verify (and correct) the factory calibration, but I have no info on 
this.  If anyone does, I would be very interested in it.

I believe I have seen a reference in one book to a Bosch tester for 
the PS, but it did not give details.  If anyone has details of 
any kind please let me know.
