There are some mystery holes in the floor sheet metal of the trunk that looked machined, and then a homemade hole from the trunk to the passenger compartment that was covered with duct tape and a sponge by the PO. There was also two holes poked in the fan shroud that gave access to a pully attached to the crank behind the fan. I really can't visualise this contraption though, had pieces all over the car...
