Yes, I have the "big" tail lights, and headlights and trim rings, and wrap around silver turn indicators on mine. > Did they have the same late model dash? Air > | blower? I have the same dash as other late model Type III's which is different than the earlies, in that it does have a speaker grill in it, dead center. I have the same two speed dash blower. No rear quarter vents, but it does have the government mandated fresh air blow through vents on the rear roof pillars, not very functional. Mine doesn't, and didn't have FI, so I guess that she's a "fer-a-ner". > 70 -71 72 -73 > > Popout windows Air inlets on 72 - 73 > No Fan Under dash fan/blower > Low back front seats highback seats (73 seats different > to 72) * > Grey faced gaugres in dash Black faced gauges in dash * > Wasn't there a change of FI from/to D-Jetronic??? > Grey Style Steering wheel Newer Style plastic Steering Wheel. Now mine has no popouts, but I am chasing down a pair of *'72*'s, we'll have to see if they're for real, I know the early model PO's won't fit my car. I do have the low back seats, however, and I have never been able to place them in any other car. They have the three-point mounts, they have a late model S(uper) B(eetle) plastic trim on the side, a side mounted handle for pulling them forward, they aren't converted from hi-backs (I looked), and best of all, they both fully recline, all the way back. She also has black gauges with silver trim, and the late model black plastic horn pad steering wheel, but I'm told that this is incorrect for this car. Still looking for a black soft edged one (anyone? anyone?) Oh yeah, I do have that silly little "spotlight to illuminate the heater levers" on the dash also. I think Wayne pretty much covered it, other than that, it's pretty much the same. David Walters '73 1600L Notch S. FL, USA
