  As the article in VW Trends recently pointed out, if the car is a
daily
  driver you must REALLY do some searching to find adequate loss
insurance. 
  I am intending on purchasing a Squareback for use as a daily driver
only
  4 months out of the year, about 8-10,000 miles a year and I know the 
  search will be most difficult! 

  You might just put the premiums you would be paying into a bank 
  account and after a few years, you would have your own recovery
  nest egg, should it come to that!
