Vince,
Why? If your engine doesn't need rebuilding and you are happy with the
stock setup then don't waste your money. If you convert to carbs I
guarantee you will be wasting time and money. The only reason to move to
carbs is because you want to have a larger engine (torque/hp increase).
And, actually, you can get after-market FI systems for bigger engines if
you're willing to pay for it -- $1000 or so and yes, someday, I will
convert to an after-market system. If you like tinkering and maintaining
an engine (and you have a second car or your pushy friends are willing to
drive you around when something goes...) then a carb conversion will be a
definite learning experience for you!
Don't succumb to peer pressure because, in this situation, it will cost you
much money and grief. Believe me, my baby has taught me a lot and I REALLY
appreciate the superiority of FI.

I was wondering about my car. It is FI right now but my friends keep
on pushing me to go with carbs. I was just wanting some other
people's opinion on this subject.
