WOW, so that's how it's done. I've had my FB ten years and just accepted the fact that my passenger seats was never gonna move again. I replaced the carpets with no problem, when I removed the seats belt mounts I just slipped the carpeting out. I thought I was gonna have to remove the seats, but it was necessary in the end. Im keepin your how-to list for reference. Thanks. Anyone out there know anyone who wants to part with a right-hand drive T3? I met a guy at Bug-in in California who had a 66 RHD Fastback. After I got my heart started again, he said he waited forever for the original owner to sell it. I contemplated moving next door to him to wait him out too, but my lawyer said that would be stalking.Just kidding. I sold my RHD Beetle 12 years ago and its the one car I aleways regretted selling. If I can get one from the UK cheap enough I would afford the shipping.
