Dear Readers: 

  I have been a member of the Type-3 list for a few days now 
  and I must say that I am impressed with the amount of Type 3
  information available.  

  I joined as a matter of requirement as I am seriously thinking
  about finding/purchasing a 69-73' Squareback.  Believe it or
  not, I HAD a 70' back in the mid 70's.  I sold it as I got bored 
  with it, but now later on down the road I wish I hadn't!  
  I hope to be making my purchase in the early spring of 98'. 

  Anyway, this will be the first auto I will doing a resto on.
  Any tips about how I should proceed?  I already am a member 
  of our local VW Club (VW Club of Houston) and fortunately
  they are "Type 3 Freindly". I know that I should buy the best
  I can afford, but when I get it home, where should I start? 
  Anybody got any leads?
