	I am in the final stages of this conversion also.  Luckily, the PO
started it with his '68 parts car (chokes, starter, regulator,
generator, clock).  I think I'm now down to the horn as the last 6v hold
out (Sounds great though).
	An interesting note: all the post '66 (?) 12v parts have ground wire
tabs built into the switch, or motor or whatever.  The 6V stuff all
seems to ground to the body at the point of attachment.
	Anyways, here's a trick that my budy has done in his bugs for years:
install an 8v battery, have the regulator adjusted by a shop.  Aparently
this brightens things, and brings a tired system up to speed.  I can get
details from him if anyone is interested.

PS  I've got these neat "12V lightning flash" decals for the doors.  As
the 12V system was an option in '66, I want to know where they should
go:  The door jamb, or the end of the door itself?  Left and Right?
