re: Switching from FI to Carbs

  Hi Mike!
Switching from the beloved FI to carbs (you'll probably be dissapointed to
learn that a little bit of maintence would've solved that rough running
thing... Still got the parts?) I hope you have a lot of hair to pull out!
Are you going "stock" or aftermarket? Aftermarket is pricey and "stock"
is RARE. At least in my part of the country. I have a "70 Fastback that
someone took the complete system off. Not being a rich man I opted to go
the stock route. I have the dual carb setup from a '67 1600. They were
easy to find. The linkage on the other hand has been a nightmare. I have
everything but the relay rods for myPSIT-32's.
All the recommendations that I got were for Weber ICT's. They tell me
they even fit under the engine cover, too! I understand that this is a
rather straightforward installation too.
In the interest of putting FI back on my Fastback when I can afford it, I
have taped and numbered my unused Fuel Injection wiring and made a diagram
that I put in a safe place

Good luck! You will undoubtedly get wonderful advice from the resident
wizards here, just want to let you know somebody else is traveling the same
path!
