tranny mount

Hi All,
	Well I finally have the time to install my tranny thats been taking up
space in my shed for about a month. Removal was no problem. To get the
wheel\axle bearings out I modified a couple of SS bolts per Muir and use
them with my steering wheel puller. Worked great. When I looked at the
front mount I found that it is not like a type I. I had planned to use
urethane mounts but the front mount won't work. All the catalogs list the
same part # for type Is and early type IIIs (through 67 or 68 depending on
catalog). I figured since mine was a swing axle then it was the same. Does
anyone know what year VW changed the front mount? How about a urethane mont
to replace the stock one?
