A couple of questions

I am planning the changes for my 71 Fastback ( a nameless eunuch, so far ) and
have a couple of questions.  My FB is fuel injected and I would like to get a
few more horsepower out of the engine.  My 1st question:  How much engine mod
can the stock FI system compensate for?  Modern FI systems can often adjust
quite abit  based on there feedback control.  What about vintage 71 VW stuff?
 My 2nd question: (I know technically its the thrid but who's counting? (my 4th
:^)--   )  I want to put custom wheels on my FB, but don't know which bolt
patterns can be machined into the drums and disk brake hubs.  Can a 4 x 110mm
pattern (Ford) be put on the T3 VW?  I have seen Porsche 5 bolt patterns used,
but what about the others?  Any experience/advice out there would be
appreciated.

By the way, my FB is still in NY state waiting patiently to be picked up and
returned home to MI.  Maybe next month if the money holds.  Thanks in advance.
