Re: 1967 Notchback For Sale

Hey there, dont understae the value of a good type 3 !
I have been offered $6500 for my 67 Squareback and I am certain that it
will bring more because that offer was from a dealer that planned to
turn it for a profit.
The Japanese love squarebacks and will pay dearly for them. Fastbacks
and Notchbacks were imported to Japan so they are not as desireable. I
saw a Squareback priced at $7000 at the Pomona Swap meet this past
weekend sell, and it was hardly "better than new". Clean yes, but not
correct and had a bit of wavy body work. I dont know what the final
price was for it but he was asking $7000! If it sold for near that I
figure mine must be worth about $8500!

The market for these cars is alive, but they have to be prime examples
to bring a premium. It seems here in California that a good Square can
bring more than a good Notch! Strange but true.

Take care,
Happy Motoring
