Dash Pad Rehab.

Dearest List,
	I am in the process of putting Phillip's dashboard back in place.  I
got a nicer one from a parts car, with only 1.5 cracks this time.  Does
anyone have any tips for bringing an oxidized and brittle dash pad back
to life?
	Here's what I learned today:
1)  There's a place in Medford, OR called "Dash Specialists" that will
restore mine for $250-300.  It will be "better than new", but will loose
the radio openings in the process.  Call (541) 776-0040 Doug Harris

2)  He recommended rubbing it down with Vasaline and letting it sit for
awhile.  Anyone tried this?
