OK. first of all... what exactly do you mean by this (above) ...it doesn't really make a whole lot of sence...Second... you said that you could move the shift rod, but couldn't move the "hockey stick"... WHAT is this "hockey stick" you are talking about :( you said "hockey stick" and shift rod in the same sentence.... but the only thing I can possibly think the "hockey stick" could be, would be the shiftrod and shifter cup together as a unit (kind of a crude hockey stick tho) OR maybe you are trying to discribe the nipple of the transmission (not really shaped like a "hockey stick tho). WHAT are you talking about??? I have replaced numerous shift rods, couplers, and trannys... I could probbably help you if you where a little more explicit about what you are talking about and tried to use proper terminology (it would make it alot easier for others to help you then too). :) I would be MORE than happy :) to help you but I've got to know what you are talking about. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ George Johnson unclehippie3@hotmail.com '69 Type III Squareback (new shiftrod) '69 Type I Deluxe Beetle Salon (new siftrod and transmission) '57 Type II Panel Bus ;) (new- custom-made - shiftrod) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
