Re: Nora Got In My Car

Some places to look:
Check under the rear seat, see if one or both of the wells back there
is wet. I had the seam completely rotted out on my '71 SB when I got
it, I'm referring to the rear wheel well. There's kind of a fold
where two pieces of sheet metal form the rear wheel well, the spot
welds apparently went a long time back. I had wet feet for a while
urtil I figured it out. Some dork had stuffed socks in there, topped
off by some kind of sealant. The sealant cracked, the socks soaked up
water, pretty soon big hole at the front of the wheel well and I had
wet feet.

You might have a hole under the carpet somewhere, like right along the
heater channel back there, too.
