Unmodified, yes

Yes, but there are fuel tank specialty shops that could do this for you.

Also, you'll have to cut a hole in the bulkhead between the spare tire
area and the trunk area for the fuel filler neck.

I don't know if you're going to have trouble with the early gas cap.
Anyone out there know if there are "large" size gas caps suitable for
use in an unvented, emission-controled fuel system?
