Re: Windshield Seals

When I first got my two 1963 Notchbacks, the front windshields needed
replacing. I called Bill & Steve's and found the windshields were quite
expensive and the seals were also quite high. So, on a guess, I called up a
local windshield replacement company (J.J. Windshields in San Diego) and got
a quote for the windshield & seal (stock American style) installed for only
$140 The price break-out was $25 for the seal, $65 installation, and $50 for
the windshield. The installation took less than 30 minutes in my driveway
by one guy! I got both Notchbacks windows replaced in the same weekend and
was very pleased!

JJ Windshields has both styles of front seals available. Their number is
800 454 4545.

Good luck!
