Well I wrote last week about how to remove my front seats. I was embarassed to ask and rightfully so. Because once I took the time to research it it was easy. I appreciated the bounty of advice from my fellow type 3's. So I just wanted everyone to know about the seats I put in. Scat made the rail adapters and seats. I was very pleased that I didn't have to do any drilling. I did have to buy smaller bolts or else I would have had to drill out the groves in my seat rails in the car. So that was easy. Putting the seats together was relatively simple after I figured out that the instructions didn't match what they sent you to put them together with. My only disappointment is the velour material. It just seem really thin and fragile. I'm pretty sure it won't last too long. But I'll pay the extra price for reupolstering them to keep from having to sit on ice cold or blistering hot seats. If anyone is buying some for their type 3 I'll be glad to talk more in detail. charles '69 fastback
