Removing pop-outs

I'm sure this question has been asked before.  (Those upcoming list
archives will be usefull).  
	How does one remove the pop-out windows on a square?  I'm not sure, but
they seem to be "stuck" at the pivot.  Some sort of rubber/plastic piece
on the hinge.  
	Actually, I'm not trying to remove them so much as figure out how to
keep them from rattling at the front, top corner.  Both sides move in
and out about 1/2" when going over big bumps.  No movement/noise at the
bottom, front corner or at the latch.
