John If your car is not lowered you should be able to run 145's in the front and 205's in the rear.even 165's in the front seem to be ok. my notch has been lowered quite radically(too low by the previous owner),and i have michelin 145's on the front and 165's in the rear.this combination seems to work really well although i cannot fit 205's in the rear as i would like to. i.e.145/15 and 205/65/15 i have empi style 8 spokes on the notch with the abovementioned tyres on them and they really set the car off. there are some squarebacks with these mags on ,here as well. they look good!! while we are on the subject of tyres,i have a question to do with handling. my notch is lowered so much that the curve of the top part of my wheels is next to where the curve of the fender starts.this is similar to the front but not so radical.last week i put new 165 michelins in the rear. the old tyres were very worn!!!the wear was mostly on the inside but both tyres were worn evenly. my question is this; will my handling improve if i raised the car slightly at both ends and put 205's in the rear?? i ask this because i have noticed that sometimes the rear doesnt like going around a corner too slowly.yes thats correct, too slowly!! (the notch has had irs arms welded in the rear) regards vern ---------- > From: John T.
