Someone at work showed up last week with just such a book. I believe
the title was "The World's Worst Automobiles" or something like that.
I'll try to get the ISBN in case anyone's interested. In addition to
lots of truly ugly and ill fated cars, it also included almost all of
the cars I have really liked for their character. The Corvair, the
Isetta (sorry Dave), and the Type 3 Fastback and Squareback.
Seriously, the book is a treasure trove of misinformation, obviously
written by someone who started with an idea for a book and then set
out to interview as many equally ill-informed and biased people as he
could find.
Perhaps this could be a good Christmas present for a loved one ;-)
The price tag on it was under $10, so I am guessing that it came from
Half Price Books. If so, I could probably buy several and mail them
to anyone interested. I'll check and see if there are any more.
