The colours for 71 modelyear (Aug70-July71) are (I hope that the 
english translation reflects the real names somehow)
Iberia red L31F,  Pastell white L90D,  Saphire blue L50D,  
Shantung yellow (a pale yellow) L12D,  Kansas beige (like the desert)
L91D,  Elm green L60D, Marina blue L54D, Clementine (Orange) L20D,
Deepsea green (almost black) L66B, Black L41 ,  Silver metallic L96D,
Colorado metallic (red) L97D,  Gemini metallic (blue) L96E.
My catalogue shows 9 interior colours in cloth and 4 of them in vinyl.
Only white was available with all interior combinations. To list them 
all would blow this system (OK maybe :-)).
For modelyear 72 (Aug71-July72) VW have deleted: Iberia red, Saphire
blue, Shantung yellow and Elm green.
They have added: Kasan red L30B,  Bright orange L20B (a very nice 
colour: nobody can ever say he hasnĄt seen you :-))
Texas yellow L10B (looks a bit like egg-yellow), Sumatra green L61B,
and Gentian blue L51B.
Again  various combinations with the interior colours.

68 Notch, 70 Fast, 71 Fast
