This is a question for anyone who has installed a headlight into a fiberglass fender--how? I got both left and right front fenders from Innovations in Fiberglass. They come with a sealed hole that I have been hacking away at, but there must be a better way. I have been using a sawzall with small blades. Also, once I do get the hole cut, how do I attach metal to fiberglass? The original fender had brackets welded in the right spots to accept screws and this, being fiberglass, has nada. This is my first time doing this, so spell it out s-l-o-w-l-y for the beginner please. Thanks! -Leah Wegener '63 Squareback P.S.-- Today while I was out back working on the car, a curious raccoon came by to check it out. He didn't know anything about headlight installation. I got the first coat of primer on last week and today I made real progress by putting the rear fenders back ONTO the car!!!! This is the first thing I have put on after a year of bag-n-tag. YEAH!! The new fender beading worked out great.
