Hey all, this is my first message here, so please pardon if this
is
not appropriate day or vehicle, but I must share. I am the proud owner
of a
77 VW Custom Hardtop Camper, AKA Adventurewagen. I bought this last year
from my stepgrandfather, with 86,000 original one owner miles on it.
It's
to be seen to be believed, it's in such good shape.
Turns out, he has another car for sale, and having just seen it,
I
must offer it here first, before they do something crazy and put an ad
in
the paper.
Details are: 1974 VW Stationwagen (yes, a station wagen, sorry,
no
more buses)
90,000 original one owner miles on a small Porsche engine. Auto trans. 5
door hatchback, beautiful black interior, roof rack, great exterior, saw
NO
dents, OR rust. I of course, had to drive it,(like I could stop myself)
and
found it to be a great runner, although it took a few tries to get it
started. It has been sitting 10+ years in the Napa Valley, CA , covered
or
garaged, I'm sure, since I never noticed it before. But once I got it
fired up, it ran great! It is now stored in Mendocino County, CA .
If you or someone you know is interested in a good VW car with
so

This is such a great car, and I want to see it go to someone who
will love it the way we do. If you can persuade them to take a picture
of
it, perhaps they would email it to interested parties. And I will be
stupid
and say I am ready for a road trip, and would deliver (for a
smallprice).
Anybody in Central or South America is excluded, sorry.
