Bounos Diaz Fernando,

replacing the speedo wire is pretty simple.
you have to finger around behind the speedo until you find a thick
cable that you have to unbolt and pull out from behind the dash.
Now take off your hubcap of the front left wheel. There you will
find a smaller cap with something sticking out that is secured by
a little ring. Take off that ring and get behind the wheel. Now you
can pull out speedo-wire, which might need some strenght. There is
a clamp on the inner fender that you have to bend open. Now you can
push the wire to the inside of the car, or pull from the inside, what
ever.
Putting it back in works the other way, of course.
Replacemants are impossible to get here in Germany, I´ve tried one
of a bug, but it`s too short. The VAG no. starts with a 14, so it`s
the same as in a Karmann.
