type 3 brakes FI engine parts?

Hi all
    I went with my dad today to look at the squareback. I decided to 
get it and were gonna try to bring it home wednesday. The people I am 
getting it from have owned it since 1980 and it has been in their 
back yard since 88. It has a few rusty spots but seems otherwise ok. 
The rocker on the pass side is also rusty and I don't know if the 
engine runs yet. Anyway they are rather rare in these parts and i 
think its worth $200. The engine is Fuel injected are any of these 
parts compatible with the type 4 bus engine? Where can you get 
engine parts and fuel injection parts for them? Also the brakes seem 
to be leaking and after 10 years I wouldn't trust them anyway. Where 
is a good place to get parts and hoses, are their rebuild kits for 
the calipers? As far as I could tell everything is there, but it has 
a rack on the top that is screwed on to the roof. It's not the clamp 
on kind I've never seen one although it looks original did they ever 
come with this?  Sorry for writing so much, but I don't have any 
books to look this stuff up in. Thanks in advance
