     I was also surprised how many other women are into Type 3's!   Lucky
for me, my husband is also a fan ( he married me for my '63 Sb and my dog).
 After a full day of sanding rust and body putty I had to admit--it doesn't
get much better than this!!

     My car was a "free gift" from my dad, the original owner.  He feels so
bad about letting it sit in the rain for 5 years that he is helping pay for
lots of fixes:  soon to arrive are 2 brand new front fenders and pans for
both sides.  Have to admit they are fiberglas, though.  What is the
concensus on fiberglas replacement parts?
