As a former 'Under Construction' 1st place winner I know the one thing that
really catches peoples attention to the true character of such a vehicle
is: LOTS OF PRIMER! You can *never* have too much primer on a car. I
took the "good ol' boy" approach and had a modified engine installed before
the paint job along with a Hurst-style shifter (hey, it's a matter o'
priorities). This, I believe, solidified my trophy as a true under
construction entry.

Can't be any worse than mine. I have the famous "Flow Thru Rocker
Vents", among other atrocities. Still I had thought about entering it in
the under construction classes. Any recommendations as to how best to do
this?
