My 66' T3 runs quite nicely when the motor is not under appreciable load. That includes leaving most traffic lights. When there is an appreciable grade, the power goes down, and the motor misses/coughs. It also feels like the motor doesn't "wind up" nicely anymore. There is a relationship between the rpms and the missing/coughing. When the rpms fall below a certain point the motor works well, but I end up going slow up hills. I think I've covered all the bases. I'm confident my gaskets are good and nuts tight. I've checked the following: 1: Carbeuration/manifold seals 2: Gap on the Points 3: Balance pipe sealed well. 4: Full tune-up (I don't have a timing light. But, I know the timing was correct. Can it change?) Could it be: 1: Distributor advance problems? i.e. vacuum advance not 'advancing' because it's sticky. 2: Timing?
