I've purchased what my wife would say is way to many VW projects of all 
types over the last 12 years.  Most of the previous owners were 
skeptical when I told them I was going to drive the cars home.  Except 
for the obvious blown enginges,  after a little tinkering the engines 
start right up.  I've heard more than once, "that things been sitting 
for ten years, it'll never start"  Aren't they surprised 30 minutes 
later when I'm driving around their yard.

Gotta love those VW engines.
