Birth Certificate

I just got the birth certificate for my '72 squareback. I'm a little
disapointed I didn't get the original color for the car.

My question is, if my car was manufactured on the 14th of February,
presumably in Germany, how could it be delivered to the U.S. on the 15th of
February, the very next day??
