I have rebuilt both carbs on the stock '66 Square (32 PDSIT), but I cannot find idle cutoff valves. I need 6v ones. The chokes are OK. I cannot get them locally, or from RMMW or WCM. This car diesels badly because the fuel does not cutoff. Both jets are bad, but I replaced one with a used part. I really and truly only need one but I would like to do both. I would not mind getting 6 volt chokes too, since those will probably be next. Is this part (correctly or mistakenly) called "Idle Jet?" I've been calling it that. Also, I was looking at the end of the inlet of the air cleaner, (again, stock for '66) and I wonder if there is supposed to be a hose there. What would it connect to? I can see the remnants of duct tape on the end of this, the part that sticks out where the air comes in. -- g-r-a-t-e-f-u-l-l-y---[ email:<fishbowl@conservatory.com> ]---l-i-v-i-n-g d-e-a-d-i-c-a-t-e-d---[ http://www.conservatory.com/ ]-----l-i-g-h-t Not one hundred percent efficient, of course ... but nothing ever is. -- Kirk, "Metamorphosis", stardate 3219.8
