Jets for 32 PDSIT (6v)

I have rebuilt both carbs on the stock '66 Square (32 PDSIT),
but I cannot find idle cutoff valves.  I need 6v ones.  The chokes
are OK.  I cannot get them locally, or from RMMW or WCM.  This
car diesels badly because the fuel does not cutoff.  Both jets
are bad, but I replaced one with a used part.  I really and truly
only need one but I would like to do both.  I would not mind getting
6 volt chokes too, since those will probably be next.

Is this part (correctly or mistakenly) called "Idle Jet?"  I've
been calling it that.

Also, I was looking at the end of the inlet of the air cleaner,
(again, stock for '66) and I wonder if there is supposed to
be a hose there.  What would it connect to?  I can see the remnants
of duct tape on the end of this, the part that sticks out where
the air comes in.

Not one hundred percent efficient, of course ... but nothing ever is.
