Gang, Good old bricks and couple of bits of 3x2 under the heat exchangers, with an 1800kg Trolley jack somewhere in the middle near the sump plug are to balance it on. When it going up, I use the scissors jack to lift each side until I can get the trolley underneath and then balancing it for those few extra centimetres once it is supported on each side, it all goes together very well. When dropping it out the reverse is the case until it get to ground level and just pull it out the back of the vehicle. Of course I have the gearbox supported and make sure I'm not in a hurry at any point just in case something goes wrong. Pulling the engine out is easy with a big piece of cardboard to sit the engine on. Just lift the car, pull the cardboard. This is a one man job however. With two it can be done quicker, easier and you get to have a more enjoyable beer afterwards. Regards, Wayne '72 Notch '73 Square '83 Sigma
