This would force the two wheels to try to move in opposite directions. As you know, the std dif will move quite freely. I've never done it, but I would expect the LSD to feel much different. This sounds like a very good way to test to me. OTOH, it might just be that the serial number of an LSD equipped tranny has a different prefix. After all, they had to be able to keep track of them at the factory, too. Has ANYBODY here ever actually touched one of these? Or had a friend who did? Friends of a friend don't count.
