Greg (and others),
After much debate and referencing some mechanical engineering fundamentals
books, a material science book and a physics book, me and a friend
determined that it is possible that an anti sway bar can and will, either
significantly or slightly, affect the independent suspension of a vehicle
it is attached to.
Since my suspension is pretty tight compared to stock I don't notice the
difference. A normally stock vehicle would feel the independent suspension
difference if a sway bar was attached.
