the current exchange rate is 1.70 DeutschMark for $1.
Prices are for vehicles in a good drivable condition.

type1:             3,000 - 5,000 Marks
type1 convertible: 10,000 - 15,000 Marks
Karmann Ghia:      10,000 Marks
Ghia convertible:  20,000 Marks
type2:             10,000 Marks pre 67 only, 68 on a lot cheaper
type3:             3,000 - 5,000 Marks
type4:             2,000 - 3,000 Marks

Of course, if you`re lucky you can find car`s a lot cheaper. We all know
these stories...
Prices may also go a lot higher, depending on what engine etc.
