I suppose we all should do this bio-thang. I'm Kevin Toney. I'm a single, 32 year old high school math teacher. I've owned my 70 Sqbk since June of 1984. (It's my second car. My first was a 1970 Austin America. Now I get all the British car jokes.! ;) His name is Humpback (as in the whale). This is because he is royal blue and has a small cargo carrier on the back of the roof. I'll send in the pictures as soon as I get them scanned. My sister is on her third Sqbk. She keeps ( get your hankies ready ) totaling them out every few years. Mechanically, I keep Humpback stock. Electrically I have fun. Power windows, power door locks, cruise control, Bosch 55 amp alternator, digital read-outs of all engine stats, lights controled by ambient light levels, foot lights, hood light, rear cargo light, over head cockpit lights above front seats, and neon under-carriage lights. Of coarse, what's a car without a CB, PA, 10 disc CD player, and stereo. In my spare time I enjoy Celtic/British Isles music. I play a Celtic (pronounced Kel' tic for you basketball people who don't know any better) drum called the bodhran (bow' ron or bo' run), hence my address name. I am in a band called Distant Oaks and I have a small mail order Celtic music business called Lock Stock & Barrel. If you're interested, we have two CDs out and a web page with samples. [Self plug: If you want to buy CDs, please contact me. I could use the sales for my little sideline business.] Check it out: http://www.sonic.net/~gaidheal/distoaks.html Kevin Toney bodhran-man@bigfoot.com Richmond(near San Francisco), CA ________________________________________________________________ '70 Sqbk/Variant '71 Sqbk/Variant '85 Golf '85 Vanagon (Dead) ________________________________________________________________ "Anyone who cannot cope with mathematics is not fully human.
