Hey, I just spend the whole weekend in Seattle for a friends graduation with my
baby (and friend, Steph Steph) and had a total blast -- and I still have my
lenses. Of course, I do have an alarm system... Instead of using the standard
Philips-head screws see if you can find Hex-head ones. They're the ones you
have to use an Allen wrench to remove. Most thieves don't carry Allen wrenches
with them, especially metric ones. I don't have these on my baby so I don't
know where to get them but try HomeBase (ahhh, HomeBaaaasssssse...drool).
You'll probably only be able to find ones for the back, though.

P.S. Seattle Zoo to Beaverton (west Portland) in 2 hours, 58 minutes and that
includes waiting 5-10 minutes at the border for the bridge to come down --
that'sa movin'!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep people from RIPPING O=
FF
my tail lights and turn signal lights? It has happened a couple of times=
and they are expensive! I thought about epoxying them but then how would=
I
get them off if I needed to? What kind of a person would prey on an
innocent VW? Next time I park it in Seattle I will leave my alarm system=
(
our Airedale ) in the car!
Well, wish us luck putting in our NEW PANS AND FENDERS (even if they=
are only fiberglass).
