'65 Notchback for sale, and other stuff.

Greetings!

I've finally accepted the fact that I'm never going to do anything with my
'65 1500 S Notchback. I've got too many other projects. It'd be a good
resto project or, with far less effort, a great parts car.

What's good on the car:
-------------------------
very little rust
taillight lenses, side marker lenses
all chrome except bumpers excellent
it runs and drives!
inside the "hood" and "trunk" in excellent condition
original (or at least pre-US) Blaupunkt

What's bad on the car:
---------------------------
a little rust: around the headlights, bottom of the quarters.
passenger side is dented (fixable, not rusting)
oxidized paint
interior is very poor
broken passenger vent window

I'll toss in:
a Type III right hand drive dash and disk brake front end

I'm trying to get some pictures scanned.
The car is located in central New York, looking for $750.

Also, I've got a '65 Type I. All that's left is the front axle, the body
(some rust), the glass (all good), and the dash. It was a parts car for a
car we haven't had since '81.........
Take it, it's free.

Last but not least, another project I'm never going to have enough time to
work on: a Fiberfab GT-40 kit car, on a '65 Type I pan. My father bought it
~30 years ago, got it to the point where it ran, but had no interior, paint,
anything. It's been sitting around for the last 25 years. Anything that
can rust, has. Last winter, the windsheild cracked. Basicly, it's just the
body - I'm sure the motor is seized. The transaxle and front beam may be
salvageable.

If anyone's interested, please e-mail me at risot@walrus.com (I'm not on the
list)

Thanks!

Tom
